I am exhausted from my trip so I tried to throw together a picture. Bren had friends over and played poker so I tried something with the chips. Nothing was working, lighting was off and I just wasn't into it.
So you know what I do when I can't get a pic to look good... b&w conversion!
My Dad, Peyton and I went to Portland and got back yesterday so sorry for the delay in pictures. Here is one from 09/23/10.
This was her first time meeting my cousin Tyler and it was love at first sight. She couldn't get enough of him. It was totally adorable. She had her first crush for sure. :)

It was getting late and I had yet to take a picture today, so I took one of the pretty favor from my friend Holly's bridal shower on Sunday (remember, the one I made the fruit kabobs for?) I decided to play around with my focus and DOF. My goal - focus on the word thank you and have a bit of a blurry tea cup in the background. I think I succeeded. AND.... pictures are starting to look a bit better inside which is good, because fall is here.

Here's one for the 100 list.
My Step dad has a beer bottle collection that runs the perimeter around the top of an outdoor greenhouse he built my Mom. Tom is big into beer, including brewing. Which he got my husband into. Which benefits me because we always have yummy beer. :)

My husbands Grandpa recently passed away. We also lost his wondeful wife Helen 5 years earlier. My father in law and his sisters have been working at clearing out all the old memories in the house. Who gets what? What goes where? The year after Helen passed, Wally gave all the grandchildren one of Helen's music boxes. She has hundreds of them. Peyton and I went to "Great Grandpa's" house today and picked out a music box for her. Something about this one stood out to me. I am hoping this will be something Peyton will treasure forever. I am not counting this towards my list (although it could be old or music) becasue I want this on it's own. This is a memory. A treasure.
This little guy is a staple in Washington. The first ones are coming out and lazing around my driveway. Yuck! The funniest thing was that Peyton was getting anxious while I was trying to get the perfect picture of this slimy guy that she reached down to pick it up (and probably throw it?) but freaked out and started crying right after she touched it. Not what she expected I suppose.
